The Sudanese Doctors’ Union in Ireland (SDUI) successfully organized a workshop titled “Essential Research Skills for Doctors,” held at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. The event addressed key issues in medical research, academic challenges, and strategies for the professional development of international medical graduates in Ireland.
The workshop featured a distinguished panel of professors and experts from various Irish universities and hospitals. Their presentations and interactive sessions covered critical topics, including securing research grants, scientific writing, reference management, and medical statistics.
Participants were awarded 5.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for their attendance. Certificates of completion will be distributed at a later date.
