About Us

The SDUI (Sudanese Doctors Union of Ireland) is a non-profit, non-political, voluntary organization established in 2010 as the official representative of the Sudanese doctors working in the Republic of Ireland. The SDUI was founded by Sudanese doctors working in various hospitals and regions of Ireland.

The SDUI aims to unite Sudanese doctors and their families throughout the Republic of Ireland to achieve numerous goals and provide practical solutions to the issues and challenges they face.

“We are dedicated to uniting Sudanese doctors in Ireland through professional and credible representation in all matters of interest. Our mission is to ensure the welfare of our members, advocate for their rights, and take a leading role in the development of health services and medical training in Sudan.”

Our Goals

Adopts all issues of interest to the Sudanese doctors in Ireland and works to resolve them.
Stands with all doctors and supports them in emergency conditions such as illness and unemployment.
Encourages doctors to develop their abilities and engage in academic pursuits and provides all possible assistance to its members to achieve higher specializations.
Defends the interests of the Sudanese doctors in Ireland, works to enhance their performance and academic achievements, as well as improving the conditions of their employment and housing.
Stands in solidarity with the issues of the Sudanese doctors at home and it collaborates with the Union in Sudan and contributes to its programs and activities.
Interacts with the issues and problems of the Sudanese society in the national and social spheres in proportion to the capacity of its members.
