Performing Clinical Audit Course

The Sudanese Doctors’ Union of Ireland (SDUI), in partnership with the Avicenna Health Institute, successfully hosted a specialized training course titled “Performing Clinical Audit” on the evening of Saturday, August 2nd, 2025.

The course was delivered by Dr. Taha Ibrahim Yousif and Dr. Mohammed Elfatih Mohammed Elamin as part of a comprehensive educational package. This initiative is designed to equip medical doctors with the practical skills necessary to meet their annual clinical audit requirements.

Key areas covered included:

  • Selecting an appropriate audit topic.
  • Data collection and analysis methodologies.
  • Frameworks for preparing the final audit report.

This course is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) for 4 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Participants may be eligible for reimbursement of the course fees through the Training Support Scheme (TSS). Furthermore, this course fulfils the mandatory requirements set by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) for the registration of Consultant doctors with the Irish Medical Council.
